Trim Levels of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator

With the introduction of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator, those in the market for a midsize truck have an intriguing option to consider. The all-new Gladiator is the equivalent of the four-door Wrangler Unlimited, but instead of a standard cargo area, there is a 5-foot cargo bed. The addition of the Wrangler DNA gives the Gladiator an off-road performance the no other truck can match. There is plenty of towing and hauling capability here as the Gladiator pulls a class-leading 7,650 pounds. Just like on the Wrangler a Rubicon version is available. And with features such as lockable front and rear differentials and 33-inch all-terrain tires, the Gladiator makes a great addition to any Jeep lineup. The Jeep Gladiator comes in four available trim levels each with a bunch of features. Take a journey with us as we break down each one.

Sport

The Sport, like every Gladiator trim, comes with a 5-foot cargo bed, a four-wheel-drive system and a 3.6-liter V6 engine producing 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Six-speed manual transmission is standard with eight-speed automatic as an option. As for features, the Sport comes with 17-inch steel wheels, all-season tires, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, cruise control, a rearview camera, Bluetooth, and a 5-inch central display. Optional is a convertible folding top, removable doors, and a fold-down windshield.

Sport S

Up a level Is the Sport S, and it comes with alloy wheels, power windows, power doors and tailgate locks, heated power mirrors, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The Sport S also gives you a ton of options. A Technology Group package gets you a 7-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability. Other packages include a Cargo Group package with a rail-based cargo management system, and a 115-volt power outlet in the bed. And a Safety Group and Advanced Safety Group package that provide a variety of advanced driver safety aids.

Overland

The Overland is a trim with a ton of style and function features including 18-inch alloy wheels, body-color wheel arches, and side steps. Additional features include automatic headlights, LED ambient footwell lighting, and a 7-inch infotainment system with additional USB ports for rear passengers.

Rubicon

The Rubicon provides you with the most off-road ability with a different transfer case providing a lower crawl ratio for climbing and crawling, fenders with clearance to accommodate the larger 33-inch all-terrain tires, an electronically disconnectable front stabilizer bar, locking front and rear differentials, and Fox shock absorbers.

The much anticipated, all-new Jeep Gladiator more than lives up to its midsize promise thanks to its robust, lightweight construction, best-in-class towing ability, and excellent 1,600-pound payload capacity. The incorporation of the Wranglers legendary pedigree gives the Gladiator superior off-road capability. And the signature Jeep styling and convertible ability make the Gladiator one of the best midsize trucks on the market.
